Food For Thought – May 6, 2014

Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. (Jeremiah 15:16, NKJV)

Chew on this:

  • When was the last time you had a craving for the Word similar to Jeremiah’s?
  • When was the last time you thought of the Word as something to be joyful about?
  • When was the last time you rejoiced during or after reading the Word?

I encourage you today to spend time reading a small passage to whet your appetite for Christ.  I encourage you today to think about what kind of “food” you are feeding your soul.  Are you eating “mud pies” or feasting on Christ?
